Jodie Metz, Owner and Director of The Bobcat Den, has over 18 years of teaching experience in public and private schools. She is currently a Special Education Teacher at Brush Creek Elementary in Eagle, Colorado. Jodie holds a Master’s Degree in Equity and Cultural Diversity. Her work is grounded in a belief that all children deserve a safe, supportive, and enriching space to learn and grow. These are values she carries into every aspect of The Bobcat Den. She resides in Eagle with her husband, Phil, and their two sons. With deep roots in the Eagle community and a lifelong passion for education, Jodie is committed to making The Bobcat Den a place where children feel seen, valued, and inspired every day.

Ingrid Mongenas
Assistant Director
Ingrid Mongenas is a dedicated Kindergarten teacher at Brush Creek Elementary School with a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Ingrid has a deep understanding of how young children learn and grow. She is known for her boundless creativity, contagious joy, and her ability to make every child feel special. Ingrid is thrilled to bring her energy and love for learning to The Bobcat Den After-School Program, where she looks forward to creating a fun, engaging, and supportive environment for students to continue exploring, playing, and growing beyond the school day.

Phil Metz
Business/Financial Advisor
Phil Metz serves as the Business and Financial Advisor for The Bobcat Den. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and brings a wealth of experience in business management and strategic planning. With a strong background in financial oversight and organizational growth, Phil is dedicated to helping The Bobcat Den thrive behind the scenes. His expertise ensures the program operates smoothly and sustainably, supporting its mission to serve students and families effectively.

Kayla Ford
Program Leader
Kayla is a dedicated Program Leader who greets our students each afternoon with a big hug and a genuine smile. Her love for working with children shines through in everything she does, creating a warm and welcoming environment where kids feel comfortable being themselves. Kayla also brings her creativity to The Bobcat Den by planning fun, hands-on art projects and sharing her love of painting and knitting with our students. She loves helping kids explore their creativity, try new things, and most importantly, have fun!

Bailey Stump
Program Assistant
Bailey brings a calm, caring presence to the Bobcat Den. With several years of experience working with children from infancy through elementary school, she understands how to make kids feel safe, supported, and valued. Her gentle nature and genuine love for children shine through in the way she connects with each child and helps create a welcoming, nurturing environment at the Bobcat Den.
